Hi, I’m Em—a lifelong dog lover and professional with a passion for helping dogs and their people thrive.

Growing up in a family of dog enthusiasts, my first word was "dog," and I’ve been surrounded by four-legged friends ever since.

With over 20 years of professional experience as a Vet Tech, Pet Sitter, and Dog Walker, I’ve developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and body language. But my personal journey with dogs, especially with my high-energy pup Fitz, taught me the value of finding training methods that truly resonate. When traditional approaches didn’t align with my values, I explored alternative methods, learning from a diverse range of trainers.

To deepen my expertise, I have completed two dog training apprenticeships, shadowed a service dog trainer for several months, and earned certifications as a Family Dog Mediator, DN Certified Enrichment Technician, and Trick Trainer. I am also continuously expanding my knowledge through ongoing education courses, studying for the CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed) exam, and currently working toward becoming a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist. These experiences have shaped my compassionate and effective approach to training, ensuring I provide science-backed, ethical methods tailored to each dog and their guardian.

My mission is simple: to be the trainer I wished I had—someone who gets it, who supports without judgment, and who offers real solutions. I’m committed to ongoing education, ensuring you receive the latest, most effective training techniques.
